What makes SmartSpace different from other stand design and build contractors?
- SmartSpace is the In-House service provided by Reed Exhibitions to Exhibitors of Reed Exhibitions shows only. The SmartSpace Team are situated in the same office as the Show Sales and Marketing team, therefore you can be sure that SmartSpace will deliver the same excellent standards you have been used to from the Show staff you know and trust.

What services exactly does SmartSpace provide?
 - SmartSpace provides stand design, construction, artwork printing, lighting, power sockets, Audio Visual equipment including screens, PA systems, computers etc, internet connections, catering supplies, furniture hire, and hostess staff. SmartSpace prepares and submits all online forms necessary for the above, all Stand Plan submissions, stand related H&S forms and Risk Assessments, coordination of delivery on site of all the above, and management of the installation.

All you will need to do is turn up before the show opens to set out your brochures!

What is the procedure for developing a design?
 - Simply look at the design packages available on the website pages, choose one you like and send it to us via the link. If you want to make any changes to your chosen design, or would like to add items to it, simply make a note of these in the email, or request a call back to discuss in more detail.

Once the SmartSpace Team receive your email with your chosen design, you will be sent a set of illustrations and a full cost quotation detailing everything you have asked for.

How long will it take to produce a design/quote?
 - For the initial set of illustrations and quotation – please allow 5 – 10 working days from the time you submit your enquiry.

For any minor amends you may wish to make after this time, please allow 3 – 5 working days

How many times can I change the design free of charge?
 - 4 times. These changes can be as drastic or as minor as you wish, however we advise you consider the changes carefully, and request them at one time rather than in different stages. This will prevent any unnecessary charges accumulating for design changes after the 4th revision.

What will it cost to design a stand?
 - For all SmartSpace costs, please contact the Sales representative for your show.

Will the colour of the walls match our corporate logo?
 - We supply a range of standard colours which are available for the fascia and walls of each design. These colours can be found in the document called ‘Additional_Items_Walling_And_Flooring’ If none of these colours are suitable for you, and you are not able to use a contrast colour, we would print a specific Pantone instead of using the standard range. This does incur additional costs.

What format should I submit my artwork?
 - Please refer to ‘Artwork Instructions’ in Download Centre.

How far in advance should I start planning my stand?
 - As soon as you’ve booked your stand!

What happens to my stand once the show has finished?
 - The aluminium framework of the stand will be carefully dismantled, cleaned and re used again at another event, however the walling panels will be sent to be recycled if they are not retained for future use. If you wish to take any panels away with you to use at a future event, please notify us at or before the show.
